Flumag

LF Flumag is an excellent product used in the ladle furnace that can balance slag chemistry making it fluid so as to maximize stirring and slag/metal interaction, necessary to remove sulfur. Flumag protects the refractory lining thanks to the calibrated input of magnesium.

AOD Flumag ELC (Extra low Carbon) is a product used in AOD for the production of stainless steel that can guarantee very lowcarbon contents and very high desulfurization levels. Moreover, the calibrated dosage of magnesium ensures full saturation of its slag demand. During the decarburization process, Flumag can maintain the uniformity of the chemical composition of the slag eliminating carbon pickup problems.
