For slag saturation, it is important to meet magnesium demand during the melting phase, which comes from the relationship between content of iron oxide (FeO), slag basicity (B.I.) and temperature (t°) so as to obtain a correct slag basicity B4 CA0 + MgO / SiO2 + Al2O3.
